Hi All.I am completely new to the Appian environment. Normally how long it takes to create the environment for USA region? I requested yesterday but not received any confirmation email yet. Also today when I click on the “Access Environment” button, it is asking to to choose region and other questions again. Please guide me.  RegardsPradyumna

Hi I’m new for Appian,  I have a simple test case:Process Variable:pv!test (Text)Default Value = "ABC"Interface Rule Input:ri!test (Text)Interface:- The form displays ri!test.- User changes the value from "ABC" to "HELLO".- A debug field confirms that ri!test contains "HELLO".User Input Task Forms mapping:ri!test = pv!testContinue button:submit: trueIssue:After clicking Continue and completing the User Input Task, the process variable pv!test still contains the original value "ABC".The Rule Input (ri!test) is updated correctly inside the form, but the Process Variable (pv!test) is not updated.My expectation was that the updated Rule Input value would automatically be written back to the mapped Process Variable when the task is submitted.Am I missing an additional configuration step?Do I need to configure something in the Data > Outputs tab, or should the Forms mapping handle this automatically?Any advice would be appreciated.Thanks! 

Hi all,I'm working through the Appian Developer Learning Path (currently on "Build an Application: Step-by-Step #1") in Appian Community Edition, and I've run into a few related issues that seem to point to a workspace provisioning problem:My registered workspace prefix is W1187. In Appian Designer, the only Acme Sport Equipment Rental app I can see is prefixed W0902ER — not W1187ER as I'd expect for my own workspace. I don't see a "Solution Acme Sport Equipment Rental" (W#SER) app anywhere in Designer, with no object-type filters active. Navigating to Community Edition Home (/suite/sites/home) takes me back to the "Welcome to Appian Community Edition" region-selection screen — the same onboarding flow I completed when my workspace was first created — instead of a home dashboard with a "Browse App Catalog" option.I emailed CommunityEdition@appian.com about this and haven't heard back yet, so I wanted to also ask here in case anyone's run into something similar.Has anyone seen a mismatc

Hola, buenos días. Se tiene el siguiente problema:Se crea un reporte en process HQ y se ordena de mayor a menor por una columna (Columna_X) numérica de la tabla principal, luego se crea un filtro de informe para dicha columna (Columna_X) para que el usuario pueda filtrar los datos del informe. Sin embargo cuando se realiza la búsqueda en el filtro, los datos que muestra el filtro están ordenados de menor a mayor, luego se procede a buscar por el valor del último registro para dicha Columna_X y sale que no existe, pero ese registro se visualiza en el informe de primero. Cabe mencionar que se tiene al rededor de 9000 registros en el informe.de pronto alguien tiene conocimiento de cómo solucionarlo, para que se pueda filtrar por el valor del ultimo registro de la Columna_X?

However, it seems that the Appian Designer Community Edition performance is consisently slow for me over the last couple weeks. Is this normal for everyone? And if so is that indicitive of the real-world performance of the Designer IDE. Thanks!

Currently, the videos only have subtitles in English, and as a Spanish speaker, having subtitles in Spanish would greatly facilitate my learning process.Is there a feature within the platform to enable subtitles in other languages, or do you have plans to offer this option in the future?I look forward to your response.Best regards,

Hi, I am a new Appian employee and I just wanted to understand how many environments do we usually have in Appian where to deploy our applications? What are their most important features? Are there some best practices to follow in using them? I know there are the development one and quality (or testing) one for building and testing the applications and the production one where the applications run, but is there a link to a more specific documentation of the differences between them? I couldn't find it. Thanks for all the help!

Hello Community,I am facing a issue while exporting data from appian entity to excel file using power query. When the data set is increasing to be around more than about 10,000 rows, few columns are not populating or going missing in the file. When the reduce the data by limiting pagination, it is working fine. I am not sure on the limitations or I did not get any solid information online. Any body else facing same issue, please help.

As far as I can tell, I have followed the instructions to the letter. But my results are not the data from the Vehicle record. In fact, when I went and looked at "W0420AA_QR_getVehicle" and tested the inputs, I found that the result is always an ID or an array of IDs, never the record data. What did I miss? What am I doing wrong?

Good evening, I have been going through the developer learning path.  On the course to start developing an application as a step by step, I appear to be missing the main tutorial application that is referenced in the guide (acme-sport-equipment-rental).  I see the solution, but not the practice app.  Any thoughts or guidance would be great.  Thanks.

I have been trying to go through "Appian Developer" learning path. However, it appears that my Appian Community Edition environment is not set up correctly. I discovered this when I got to "Design Record Types: Model and Configure Your Data". The sample applications are missing. So I tried to create my own app as a way to keep moving forward. However, when the AI wizard arrived at the "Data" stage, there were no data sources available.  I am just stuck and frustrated, and I feel like I am being ignored. NOTE: I have already reached out to Appian Academy <training@appian.com> and Appian Community Edition <communityedition@appian.com> last Wednesday. But I have only received automated responses.

I am currently working through the Appian developer learning list, and have come to the Visualize Your Data: Reports and Dashboards lesson (https://academy.appian.com/#/online-courses/816ad062-560d-4de5-a764-531290a3e562), however there appears to be no content whatsoever. Appreciate this could be a issue specific to me, however the reviews are all very negative so figured it may not be. If anyone is able to confirm the issue/let me know where to raise it to, that would be perfect .

I am using Community Edition and  following the Appian Developer path. In for Step-By-Step # 5 I encounter a problem with selecting the database for the "Vehicle" Record Type. I followed all the steps1-4 and facing above change in Step 5. Appreciate any help/suggestions 

Hi all, I've started the new developer learning path which launched 2 days ago. When I attempt to navigate the ACME SPORT EQUIPMENT RENTAL SOLUTION application I get the following error: "Record type is marked as synced, but its data has not yet been synced or its existing synced data has been invalidated. Contact your system administrator"I have gone in and checked this record type specifically and others related to it and they all have the same issue. The sync history shows a failure and I am unable to run a manual FULL SYNC. Attempting to change the data source on the record type I get the following error: "The data source cannot be reached or its configuration is invalid. Please contact your system administrator."I have reached out to communityedition@appian.com and am awaiting a response. Please let me know if anyone has any ideas or if I find a solution I'll come back here to post my progress in case it helps anyone in the future.
